November 17: My senior recital took place at Voertman Hall at UNT. She Shooed the Tempting Shadow, Wonderings Subdued, O Art Gracieux, Dandelion, and the first two movements of Symphony No. 1 were performed!
October 21: Await was chosen as a UNT Concerto Competition finalist!
October 18: Finished a band arrangement of Await.
October 6: Commissioned by AVIDduo to write a piece for flute and saxophone for their 2013 season!
September 8: Finished the second movement of Desert Symphony for wind ensemble.
September 7: Approved for my senior recital.
August 29: Accepted the Martin Mailman Memorial Composition Scholarship from UNT for the second consecutive year.
May 19: Mvt. 1 of Desert Symphony was performed by the Leander High School Wind Ensemble in Leander, TX.
May 10: Ended my job working as a Supplemental Instructor for Music Theory.
