PROGRAM NOTE:
Await is a piece about the build up and tension of waiting for something you desire, and the subsequent release when it is obtained. Therefore the piece divides nicely into two sections, with many of the motives in the second section mirroring the first section in an altered form- more relaxed and contemplative. The main seven note motive is my husband's name based partially on my synesthesia and partially on note names.
